Seigla is a chamber music festival that reimagines the traditional concert format. The festival takes place annually in Harpa Concert Hall in Reykjavík, Iceland.

The 2025 edition of the festival featured a programme responding to the theme ‘Narrative’. I created digital and physical assets for the festival using a series of coloured papercut motif’s. Each motif represents the story behind a concert on the programme.

Digital assets included a range of playful animations created for display on screens of various sizes throughout Harpa during the festival.

The animation below was created to promote BUM Edition 1. BUM was a risograph printing magazine which I published and edited from 2019-2023.

The ‘Minimax Toy Factory’ was an artistic project created for the exhibition ‘In Case of Fire’ (Ryde Arts Centre, 2021). The project is a memorial to the Minimax Fire Extinguisher Factory in Feltham, a glorious complex of art-deco industrial buildings which was demolished in 1986 and replaced by two blank-facaded warehouses.

The artwork consists of 17 wooden blocks, each hand-painted with gouache, which form a 1:200 toy version of the factory. The blocks can be combined in different ways, possibly to suggest alternative arrangements for the site, or maybe just for fun!

I created the animations below for the exhibition’s digital counterpart.
